Heartopia System Requirements — Can Your PC Run It?

Updated 2026-06-02

The Heartopia system requirements are surprisingly low for a 2026 game. XD optimized the game to run on hardware from a decade ago. If your PC was built after 2012, you can probably play. The minimum spec asks for an Intel Core i5 2500 or AMD FX-4350, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 660Ti or R9 270. That covers most office PCs and old gaming laptops.

At the recommended level (i5-6500 + GTX 1060), Heartopia runs at 60 FPS on high settings at 1080p. The game is not graphically demanding — it uses a bright, stylized art direction rather than photorealism. The main performance load comes from rendering other players' customized houses when you visit a populated town instance. If you drop below 60 FPS in crowded areas, lowering the draw distance for building details helps more than reducing texture quality.

Heartopia requires a broadband internet connection even in single-player mode. The game streams town data from the server. Offline play is not supported.

Storage requirement is 10 GB, but the game regularly adds new furniture, outfits, and event content through patches, so keep at least 15 GB free if you plan to stay updated. See our Game Info page for a full feature breakdown.
