Heartopia Building System — Design Your Dream House

The Heartopia building system gives players a full 3D editor with no grid — unless you want one. You place walls, floors, roofs, windows, and doors freely, then furnish every room with hundreds of items. The system is deep enough for serious builders but approachable for casual players. Most people figure out the basics in 15 minutes. This guide covers the tricks that take that from 'functional box' to 'magazine-worthy home.'

Editor modes and hotkeys

• Press B to enter Build Mode. G toggles Snap Mode (half-tile grid alignment).
• Structure tab: walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows. Each has 20+ variants.
• Furniture tab: 500+ items sorted by room type and theme.
• Lighting tab: color temperature sliders for every light source.
• Terrain tab: ground textures, fences, pathways for outdoor lots.

Co-building with friends

Grant Editor permissions in Lot Settings and friends can build on your lot in real time. Each player sees a different colored cursor. Changes are tracked in the history panel — you can undo anything. Co-building shares materials and blueprints between participants, making it the fastest way to furnish large houses. Just save a room blueprint before letting loose builders in — trust us.
