Heartopia Hobby Guide — How to Unlock Every Skill

Heartopia has six hobbies, each with its own skill tree, tools, and rank rewards. Five are available immediately after the tutorial. The sixth unlocks later. This Heartopia hobby guide explains each skill, how to level efficiently, and what rewards each rank tier gives. You can max all six, but focus on one or two first.

Leveling tips for each hobby
Fishing: fish at the pier until rank 3, then move to River Bend. Use specialty bait after rank 5. Cooking: craft the highest-tier dish you have unlocked for maximum exp per ingredient. Gardening: cross-breed flowers for bonus exp. Birdwatching: scan every bird species once per zone per day for a first-sighting bonus. Bug Catching: focus on zones with high spawn density like the meadow and forest edge.

- What is the fastest hobby to level?
- Fishing is the fastest to rank 5 because fish spawns are plentiful and you get exp per catch regardless of fish rarity. Gardening is slower but more profitable.
- Can I reset a hobby?
- No. Hobby ranks are permanent. There is no reset or prestige system. Choose carefully if you care about optimization.
